After reviewing two prominent steakhouses in the last article tied to two NFL greats, let’s take a different stance and go after some other unique places to eat and plenty of them. Denver has well over 2000 restaurants, and I’ll make sure to leave steakhouses out this round. Can you imagine all the cafes, burger joints, Mexican restaurants and more that Denver has for you to try?
Where should we go first? Let’s head on over to Rialto Cafe on 16th Street, and just so you know, the place looks pretty festive from the outside. Reviewers talk about delicious cornbread, burgers, cocktails, calamari and more. Rialto Cafe is known to have live music, and some guests say that it is kind of a loud environment. I told you it looks festive, but to me, great food and live music sounds like a lot of fun, what about you?
Some restaurants make for festive lunches or dinners like the last one, and then there are different picks like Tamayo. Do you love Mexican food? I do, too, and Tamayo is one of the best in Denver. On Larimer Street, this establishment serves up all kinds of favorites. Plantains are mentioned in the reviews, and I say that because you might then need to expect Mexican food with a Caribbean twist. If you travel the country, your favorite Mexican foods are going to taste different in various cities and restaurants.
It is time to visit another cafe, and you are going to love this one. Lucile’s Creole Cafe is on Logan Street, and believe it or not, this cafe serves up delicious breakfast, a Creole breakfast at that. Now, do you need to start planning a different type of itinerary so that you can get out and about in Denver for breakfast? If you lived there, it would be easy to plan a breakfast, but when on vacation, do you get up early?
If not, then again, maybe you should make some time one day for a delicious breakfast at Lucile’s Creole Cafe. Now you have some great and unique picks to go with, but you need a couple more before I go, don’t you? Two more unique Denver restaurants that you might want to stop by are Work and Class and North Italia. Now you can decide which Denver establishment you are going to take your family to first when it’s time to eat.
